To help the Seuraava generation of digital experts rise and shine, we’re launching our Vincit Rising Star Trainee Program 2026. We’re looking for a Junior SAP Technical Consultant to join our Core business area, where we help our customers develop and run their business‑critical SAP ERP systems. We’re looking for someone eager to grow into either an SAP Integration Specialist or SAP UI Fullstack Developer and jump into real customer projects from day one.

If you’re excited about building modern SAP solutions, solving real technical challenges, and learning from experienced experts, this might be your perfect start. You’ll know you’ve succeeded in the program when you’ve gained hands‑on experience in real projects, discovered your strengths, and feel confident taking the Seuraava steps in your career.

What the program looks like

This program is designed as a career launchpad. You will start on a one‑year fixed‑term contract (March 2026 – March 2027) with a clear shared objective: to build the skills and confidence needed to transition you into a permanent junior‑level Tehtävä at the end of the program.

As a Rising Star trainee, you won’t just be watching from the sidelines. You’ll join real customer projects – from new S/4HANA roll‑outs and integrations to continuous development, enhancements, and platform‑level improvements – giving a broad and realistic view of modern SAP ERP technical consulting. You’ll be surrounded by a supportive community – other Rising Star trainees, our senior experts, and Univincity, Vincit’s internal learning platform that helps you grow both technically and professionally.

Highlights of the Trainee Program

• ☘️ SAP Integration (if this is your path): Work with SAP Integration Suite, APIs, integration flows, and modern integration practices.
• ☘️ SAP UI Fullstack Development (if this is your path): Design and develop modern SAP Fiori/UI5 applications, create intuitive user interfaces, and build the backend services (e.g., OData, CAP) needed to power them.
• ☘️ Consulting: Develop consulting skills and work directly with customers.
• ☘️ Continuous learning: Grow through real project work and close support from your mentor, while making the most of Vincit’s internal trainings.

Core Requirements

• Basic understanding of software development, integrations, or cloud technologies — from studies, projects, or hobbies.
• Interest in specializing in either SAP Integration or SAP UI Fullstack Development.
• A desire to work with SAP S/4HANA‑related technologies and modern enterprise architecture.
• AI Fluency: A genuine interest in AI‑assisted work and curiosity to explore new tools.
• Full‑time Availability: Ideally, you’ve already graduated or are just about to finish your studies, so you won’t need to combine full‑time work with studying, starting 30.3.2026.
• Language Skills: Fluent Finnish and English skills, as most of our projects and customers communicate in Finnish, but we also communicate in English internally.

Nice‑to‑have Skills

• Some familiarity with web development (JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS) and basic programming in any language (Java, Node.js, Python, ABAP, etc.).
• Understanding of APIs and common data formats (JSON, XML), and curiosity about how integrations work.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as SAP BTP, Azure, AWS, or GCP.

Benefits and Compensation

• Solid Pay: A fixed monthly base salary of €3 000 during the trainee year.
• Fixed contract: 1‑year fixed‑term contract with a 6‑month trial period. The goal is to continue as a full‑time consultant after the program. Our career model supports your growth from Trainee to Junior and later to Mid‑level. As your skills grow, so do your title and pay. Our aim is to offer you a permanent contract upon successful completion of the program (target: April 1, 2027).
