We are now looking for a Product Technology Engineer for our client, a global technology leader focusing on telecommunication networks, digital power, and ICT solutions.

Responsibilities

• Understand the infrastructure and technological development trends of data centers in Suomi and Nordic countries, be familiar with fire protection system architectures and global mainstream suppliers, and be knowledgeable about Finnish fire protection system design codes and implementation standards
• Collaborate with design consulting firms to develop fire protection design solutions based on customer data center construction requirements, including fire detection, fire alarm, water-based fire suppression, and gas-based fire suppression systems
• Be responsible for the detailed design and review of fire protection system construction drawings, and deliver design drawings and bill of quantities that meet pre-sales bidding and construction requirements, supporting project cost estimation, procurement inquiries, and engineering accounting
• Participate in on-site construction technical guidance to ensure successful project delivery

Knowledge

• Bachelor's degree or above in water supply and drainage, electrical automation, or related fields, with more than 3 years of experience in fire protection and water supply and drainage. Experience in large design institutes is preferred.
• Experience in the design or delivery of fire protection systems for large data centers or estate plants.
• Proficient in EU and Finnish national standards, design, and construction codes.
• Familiar with the processes of bidding, design proposals, and implementation in construction projects, and capable of independently completing high-level design, construction drawing design, and product selection

Capability

• Experience in on-site requirement communication, technical briefings, and on-site delivery assurance.

Skills

• Proficient in office software (WORD/EXCEL/PPT), drawing software (AUTOCAD), and possess BIM design capabilities. Have strong logical and communication skills, and be careful and meticulous in work.

Background

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Practical engineering experience in Suomi/Nordics, covering both design and delivery
• Must-have: Fluent English (mandatory), Finnish (strong plus), Mandarin (nice to have)

Employment is on-site work at client’s premises at Helsinki, contract is full-time and permanent via ManpowerGroup.
