Role Overview
We're looking for a Senior Electronics Engineer to play a pivotal role in our Radar Payload Team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in developing and maintaining the electronic systems within our satellite radar hardware. Your expertise will also be crucial in supporting the power and control circuits of our RF boards.
You'll be at the forefront of innovation, tackling challenges from concept to orbit. As a senior member of the team, we expect you to have the capability of leading technical projects and possessing a system-level vision to proactively identify problems, propose solutions, and innovate. You'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our products, ensuring their reliability and performance in demanding environments.
Key Responsibilities
Board-level design of electronic systems for satellite radar units and RF boards, focusing on power and control circuits using microcontrollers.
Conduct rigorous testing of designed boards to ensure functionality, performance, and compliance with specifications.
Document design processes thoroughly, including schematics, layouts, and test procedures.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during development, manufacturing, and in-orbit operations.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including RF engineers, mechanical engineers, and software developers.
Lead technical projects and apply a system-level vision to foresee challenges and drive innovative solutions.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in electronics engineering, with a strong preference for expertise in analog electronics.
Highly desirable experience with power control and circuits for high-power RF amplifiers and low-noise power supply.
Experience in the aerospace or military industry is highly desirable.
Solid understanding of high-speed signals.
Knowledge of EMI/EMC principles and best practices.
Fundamental RF understanding is desirable.
