Associate Underwriter at Atradius

Are you ready to take the next step in your career and develop your expertise in credit risk analysis at a leading global company? Atradius Finland is looking for a proactive and analytical Associate Underwriter to join our team in Helsinki for a fixed-term position of approximately 18 months.

As an Associate Underwriter, you will:

• Work closely with experienced underwriters to ensure that all companies in your portfolio have a well-defined strategy aligned with industry, sector, and country risk appetite.
• Monitor and manage portfolio exposure in line with company guidelines, applying your own credit risk assessment.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the Nordic region and be part of a dynamic regional team, reporting to the Underwriting Manager.

What We’re Looking For

• A proactive mindset and eagerness to develop strong credit risk analysis skills.
• Solid analytical abilities and understanding of financial statements.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure, make sound decisions, and balance independent work with teamwork.
• Educational background in Economic Sciences or a related field (graduate or undergraduate).
• Fluent Finnish and English skills (spoken and written); knowledge of another Scandinavian language is an advantage.
• Previous work experience is a plus, but recent graduates are also welcome to apply.
