We are looking for an experienced Software Developer to join our Game Studio team in a role that combines hands‑on operational work with long‑term development. You might already have experience in game development, or you are keen to get your hands dirty in the game development scene. The Tehtävä is central in facilitating our customer satisfaction, new market entrances and deliveries. The Tehtävä includes both operative activities such as maintenance, versioning and packaging, and long‑term development.

You will be working in a small, focused team consisting of a Game Service Manager and another Game Developer. Together with your team you will own the technical foundation for delivering and maintaining our games across international platforms, ensuring scalability, consistency, and reliability as we grow our international presence. The team operates within the Game Studio and collaborates closely with craft leads, producers and various external stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage the complete versioning and deployment of our games
• Monitor and support live operations and post‑launch maintenance: hotfixes, patches, updates, and platform compliance
• Develop and implement operational processes and automation to ensure efficiency and consistency
• Identify long‑term development needs related to tools and ways of working across disciplines and propose solutions for them
• Oversee and evaluate the technical implementation of our game development partners and provide technical support
• Collaborate actively with internal and external game teams

Requirements

• 5+ years software development experience, including shipping and live operations
• Experience in TypeScript, Git, CI/CD
• Proficiency in build systems, version control, and automation tools
• Experience with live services and post‑launch support
• Proven ability to operate in a fast‑paced environment requiring rapid response and problem‑solving
• Experience in cross‑functional work and collaborating with multiple stakeholders
• A proactive mindset with a continuous focus on identifying improvement opportunities and driving development forward.
• Experience and enthusiasm in applying AI to support problem‑solving and continuously improve efficiency and working practices
• Strong cooperation and communication skills
• Professional proficiency in English

Considered as an advantage:

• Experience in CSS, HTML, WebGL, Spine, Pixi.js, NPM, Node.js, JIRA
• Scripting skills and experience in creating AI agents
• Experience in Game development and/or Real money gaming

Our headquarters is in Pohjois‑Haaga, Helsinki, and we work in a flexible hybrid model. To keep collaboration strong, we meet at the office three times a week.
