Business Unit: Investment Project Execution & Governance

Role Overview

Act as an Engineering Manager in demanding technology and investment projects and programs within the process industry, focusing on renewable products and circular solutions. Experience in process industry investment projects is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a multi‑disciplinary design team of lead engineers.
  • Manage the technical result of the project, including engineering scope, schedule, resource planning, cost control, safety, quality, and change management.
  • Ensure design and engineering activities meet or exceed engineering standards for quality, cost, safety, and performance.
  • Lead technical integration and successful management of engineering interfaces, including equipment package units.
  • Perform interdisciplinary design reviews at different project phases.
  • Communicate actively with project stakeholders and collaborate with engineering disciplines and business area management.
  • Contribute to development and continual improvement of Engineering Management work practices, tools, lessons learned, etc.
Qualifications
  • Several years of industrial project engineering management experience within chemical, process or energy sector.
  • Knowledge of investment project methods, phases, and gate reviews.
  • Experience managing EPC, EPCM/owner’s team project engineering and stakeholder collaboration.
  • Knowledge of general plant design requirements in process industry.
  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar education.
  • Proven track record of leading and achieving results.
  • Good spoken and written English skills.
  • Responsible attitude and safety‑oriented mindset.
  • Optional: project management experience from process industry or a project management certificate.
  • Willingness to travel and relocate internationally.
