Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and optimize robust data pipelines and architectures that empower the organization to make data-driven decisions.
  • Translate business requirements into actionable data structures and technical specifications.
  • Collaborate in requirements gathering, data architecture, and information architecture.
  • Design, create and maintain efficient, scalable, reusable and secure data assets to support business operations and analytics & AI development.
  • Develop, test, and maintain data pipelines for seamless integration and transformation of raw data into meaningful insights.
  • Continuously optimize data solutions for performance and cost efficiency in cloud environments.
  • Implement data quality frameworks and monitoring solutions to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
  • Implement robust access control measures to safeguard data assets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and Information Architects, to ensure data usability.
  • Actively contribute to team culture, share best practices, and stay updated on emerging trends.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of proven experience as a Data Engineer with expertise in data modelling and the ability to design and implement conceptual, logical, and physical data models following best practices
  • Solid understanding of modern data warehouse modelling techniques (e.g. Medallion architecture, Data Vault 2.0), and the ability to treat data as a product, ensuring its integrity and usability across the organization
  • Expertise in cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, dbt and Microsoft Azure, proficiency in SQL and Python, and experience working with REST API interfaces for integration
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that meets industry standards and best practices. Ensure workflows are clearly documented for collaboration and future reference
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure data solutions meet organizational needs
  • Enthusiasm for continuous learning, experimentation, and professional growth
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering/Economics, Management Science or Mathematics.
