Head of Operations at Stealth Startup

We’re a deep-tech startup from Helsinki at the forefront of revolutionizing real-time mineral sensing for industrial applications — using cutting-edge optics, AI, and environmental resilience engineering. Our mission is to radically reduce waste and emissions in the mining industry by enabling>Head of Operationsto help us scale smart, not just fast.

What You’ll Do

You’ll work closely with the CEO and technical leadership to build out and professionalize the company’s operational backbone. Your portfolio will cover:

Operations

• Set up and improve operational systems across commercial, product, finance and other internal processes.

Finance & Accounting

• Own budgeting, cash flow management, financial reporting, and investor-facing finance.
• Oversee external accounting partners and implement internal controls appropriate for a scaling industrial tech company.

Contracts & Legal

• Lead contract negotiation and review across customers, suppliers, and pilots.
• Manage risk, compliance, and corporate governance, including IP and international expansion frameworks (with outside counsel support).

Business Ops

• Be the glue between engineering, business development, and deployment functions.
• Drive operational metrics, reporting cadences, and cross-functional decision-making.

You Might Be a Fit If You…

• Have4+ yearsin operations, finance, legal, or generalist roles in startups, scaleups, or fast-moving tech or industrial companies.
• Are comfortablebuilding systems from scratch, not just optimizing them.
• Have strongbusiness judgment, fluency with contracts, and enjoy switching between strategic and tactical work.
• Can work independently, communicate crisply, and thrive in ambiguity.
