We are now looking for a new Technical Support Specialist (Networking) to join our global team in Espoo. Ideally you will have a background in IT and networking. You will also have an interest in the other elements of the customer journey and after-sales process, with room for your own professional development across the business.

• Proven track record of managing high customer expectations, delivering results under pressure working to tight deadlines.
• Ability to professionally interface with Helvar partner companies and Ensimmäinen line technical support.
• Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and value, internally and externally.
• Ability to work in a team and interact with other departments to deliver maximum value for customers and the business.
• Analytical mindset with experience in technical troubleshooting.
• Flexible and agile, ability to adapt your approach and methods to maximize results.
• Proficient IT skills, Linux, Windows and Microsoft Office programs.
• Spoken and written fluency in English; an additional European language is desirable but not essential.

Required skills:

• Able to discuss networking with professionals and laymen.
• Good understanding of network architecture (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, etc.), hardware, security and firewalls.
• Experience in Linux OS in an IoT context.
• Experience in troubleshooting network issues.
• Linux operation and maintenance and networking.
• Experience using Wireshark.
• VPN's and remote connections.

Purpose of the Technical Support Specialist (Networking) Role

• Ensure reliable operation and customer satisfaction forHelvar'slighting control systems.
• Provide expert technical support and troubleshooting for internal teams and external partners.
• Maintain readiness for Helvar Insights and support new projects and network implementations.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and act as a technical authority on products and systems.
• Facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing across departments and partner companies.
• Drive continuous improvement by documenting solutions and contributing to best practices.
• Support the full lifecycle of product services, including training and upgrades.

What you'll be doing as our Technical Support Specialist (Networking)

You will preferably have an IT and networking background and be someone who enjoys variation in the challenges put before you. Your passion for customer service and technical specialism means you're ready to join one of the leaders in the lighting controls industry. We provide excellent training on all our products and systems.

Your primary responsibilities include maintaining full operational readiness for Helvar Insights, supporting new Insights projects, assisting with the planning, execution, validation of client network implementations and feature rollouts.

• Provide technical support for Helvar commissioning and Ensimmäinen line technical support teams in Suomi, Ruotsi, and the Iso-Britannia.
• Provide technical support for Helvar VARs technical teams.
• Update technical knowledge base with new solutions and guides.
• Provide excellent customer support by providing necessary information on our stand-alone and system-level products via phone and email in a timely and professional manner.
• Through learning and development, you will be a technical expert on the Yritys portfolio, including products, software, and services.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose user issues regarding Helvar products and systems, document problems and solutions and escalate customer questions when necessary.
• Work independently to accommodate the ever-changing needs and priorities of our customers.
• Deliver exemplary customer service to Helvar customers.
