We are looking for a experienced Head of Group Accounting to lead and further develop our group-wide accounting and financial reporting function. This is a key leadership role reporting to the CFO, with responsibility for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of all financial reporting across the group. You will lead a dedicated accounting team and work closely with finance colleagues across regions to ensure consistent and efficient processes.
What experience we would needThe Head of Group Accounting is responsible for overseeing the group consolidation process and ensuring timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in accordance with applicable accounting standards (FAS). The role owns the group accounting policies and ensures consistent application across all subsidiaries, while maintaining strong internal controls and compliance with regulatory requirements. You will also manage the external audit process and act as the key point of contact for auditors.
In addition, the role includes ownership and oversight of the group’s transfer pricing framework, ensuring policies are compliant, consistently applied, and well‑documented across jurisdictions. The Tehtävä also carries responsibility for preparing and delivering financial reporting to the Yritys’s owners on a quarterly basis.
A core part of the role is to drive continuous improvement in financial closing, consolidation, and reporting processes, including the development of systems, tools, and automation. You will ensure high data quality and transparency across the group, providing reliable financial information for statutory purposes and external stakeholders.
You will lead, coach, and develop a team of accounting professionals, building a high‑performing and collaborative function. The role requires strong stakeholder engagement across business units and geographies, ensuring alignment between local finance teams and group requirements.
