Overview

As a construction site manager at Jokioisten Maanrakennus Oy, you will be responsible for the comprehensive management of projects and the successful execution of construction sites in collaboration with site management, clients, and other stakeholders. You will oversee the entire project from planning to implementation, ensuring that work progresses safely, with quality, and according to agreed objectives. You will work on diverse earthworks projects and have a direct impact on their success.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the construction site comprehensively from planning to execution, playing a key role in achieving project goals.
  • Develop and maintain the overall project schedule.
  • Plan and manage site resources.
  • Supervise site managers and site personnel.
  • Plan procurements, tenders, and coordinate material acquisitions.
  • Participate in site meetings with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress, quality, and costs.
  • Participate in cost estimation and tender phases for new projects.
  • Ensure project progress, resourcing, quality, safety, and schedule adherence.
Qualifications
  • Suitable technical education (construction engineer, construction foreman, or infrastructure construction education).
  • Several years of experience as a site manager, responsible site supervisor, or similar role.
  • Experience in earthworks or infrastructure construction project management.
  • Practical understanding of earthworks and site production.
  • Experience in comprehensive site management and resource control.
  • Good negotiation and collaboration skills.
  • Fluent spoken and written Finnish.
  • Good command of English.
  • Driver’s licence B.
  • Additional qualifications (optional): KVV certification, experience in project cost estimation and tender phases, long practical experience in the earthworks sector, and experience in client collaboration and contract negotiations.
  • Solution-oriented, goal-focused, natural leader who leads by example, decisive even in changing situations, proactive, broad perspective, cooperative yet goal-driven, strong communicator, courageous in taking responsibility and leading the site decisively.
